ExHILP 2021

Title
ExHILP 2021
Description

The forth Extremely High Intensity Laser Physics Conference (ExHILP 2021) – held as an online conference – is hosted by the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena and the Helmholtz Institut Jena and co-organized by the DFG research unit FOR 2783. The conference combines theory, experiment and simulations of laser-matter and laser-vacuum interactions at the highest intensities. This year’s version of  ExHILP is focusing on several core topics of Strong Field Quantum Electrodynamics and its application in neighboring fields. A focus will be on contemporary and future experiments with PW-class lasers addressing interactions in plasmas, the nonlinear response of the quantum vacuum, and laser interactions with ultra-relativistic particle and high energy photon beams.

Registration is open now on the conference website.
